It's about time I've finished the last photo from our very first trip to Italy. Lucky we were, to start exploring this wonderful country from its marvelous authentic southern island.
We were genuinely happy to see the snow in Paris on January 2013. I mean - the real snow, not the one that falls here in the evening and melts away with the first rays of sunlight.
“It’s a funny thing coming home. Nothing changes. Everything looks the same, feels the same, even smells the same. You realize what’s changed, is you.”
I have just finished uploading the last photos from our four-day vacation to the French Alps in August 2012. In spite of very limited amount of time, it was unbelievably vivid and full of impressions. A big part of us are most certainly skiers/snowboarders, some are better, some are worse - but there are few who have seen Alps in the summer: either it seems too expensive to go there, or people prefer a seaside-type trip. But they miss the next best thing about the mountains!
Yesterday night, for the first time for both of us, we have participated in liturgical celebrations at Notre-Dame. Attending the Midnight mass after listening to the Choir of the cathedral was such a memorable and precious moment!
I have always loved the last moments before Christmas. The tree is up and it’s time for final decorations, cozy lights, sweet chocolate & cinnamon candles and favorite Christmas movies! Listening to Frank Sinatra songs while wrapping last minute gifts always makes me feel like I have stepped back in time :)
